The Ascot Group has taken part in a unique initiative to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The team has planted two trees outside of the Ascot Campus to honour Her Majesty’s 70 years of service.
This forms part of the Queen’s Green Canopy, a campaign which invites everyone from local community groups, schools, counties and businesses, from across the UK, to enhance the environment by ‘planting a tree for the Jubilee.’
With a real commitment to sustainability, this is just another example of how the company is making positive changes to help tackle the ongoing climate emergency.
Andrew comments: “As a business we take our corporate responsibility very seriously and we’re incredibly committed to the environment and sustainability.
“The Queen’s Green Canopy is a great initiative which we are proud to be a part of, especially to mark such a momentous milestone in history.”
The Ascot Group has also recently switched their fleet of pool cars to a mix of hybrid and electric vehicles and installed 10 EV charging points across its three main office sites.
