The tenth Business Leader Awards took place on Friday 16 September at Ashton Gate, Bristol and welcomed more than 600 business leaders, entrepreneurs and VIPS.
Originally founded by Ascot Group CEO Andrew Scott, this year’s event was hosted by comedian Patrick Kielty and celebrated the South West’s leading business people.
With 17 categories in total, the awards recognise a host of businesses who show dedication and a real commitment to sustainability, customer excellence, community and social impact, inclusion and diversity and much more.
This year’s independent judging panel included Gapsquare CEO, Dr Zara Nanu; Director at First Class Comms, Mark Burland; Managing Director at Chorus, Nicky Saner; and Shaw & Co CEO, Jim Shaw.
“The 2022 Business Leader Awards were momentous this year, marking ten years since they were first launched,” comments Andrew.
“It was a fantastic evening and it’s incredible to see so many outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs from across the region all together in one room.
“The Business Leader Awards are firmly cemented in the South West calendar as one of the biggest industry events and this year’s ceremony did not disappoint.
“Preparations for the 2023 Awards have already begun and we look forward to another amazing evening celebrating the dedication and commitment of more incredible business leaders in the South West.”
