Purplex Marketing, part of the Ascot Group, almost doubled in size during 2014, hiring 16 additional staff across all areas of the business, including 9 people in PR, marketing and digital.
In just 12 months, the digital team has grown from 6 to 12 people alone, with plans to develop specialist teams in website design and development, analytics and testing, search engine marketing, paid-for advertising and content marketing.
Andrew Scott, CEO of the Ascot Group, comments: “As part of our major plans for expansion across the group, we have projected more than 25 new, highly skilled job roles within Purplex.
“The new positions will provide more resources and strengthen our existing services, and will really benefit our clients. But we’re adding new services too, such as video production, high-end photography and app development all in response to client demand.
“Purplex continues to deliver transformational results for clients, whether it’s building a stronger local presence or an international brand. Our teams work across both traditional and online channels to deliver maximum results and I am delighted that we have entered the next phase of growth.”
Future roles are set to include web design, online marketing, branding and advertising, public relations and video production and will all be advertised on our careers page.
Purplex Marketing was started by Andrew Scott in 2004 and has averaged 45% year-on-year growth, even during the recession. Today the firm employs over 40 staff based at Purplex HQ located just outside Bristol.
