The one-day conference for the glass and glazing industry organised by Ascot Group CEO and founder Andrew Scott has been hailed a runaway success.
Insight Data and Purplex Marketing, both company’s that fall under the Ascot Group banner, organised the Glazing Summit, which took place at Edgbaston Cricket Stadium and Conference Centre and attracted almost 350 industry leaders.
They heard 24 speakers from some of the industry’s most influential companies discuss some of the biggest industry issues, as well as Adrian Webster, one of Britain’s leading speakers on business, sales and customer service, and RBS Bank Director Neil Parker, a leading UK economist and market strategist.
In the evening it was the turn of the Leaders Dinner, which saw 200 VIPs enjoy an evening of fine dining, networking, and after-dinner speaker, and Olympic gold medallist, Roger Black MBE.
In just its second year, the Glazing Summit has already established itself as the UK’s must-attend conference for the glazing industry.
And with 23 big-name sponsors backing the 2019 event, including industry giant Yale, preparations are already underway for next year.
“We really did raise the bar this year and received some hugely positive feedback as a result. It’s clear that the industry views the Glazing Summit as a valuable event, and we are aiming to make Glazing Summit even bigger and better.”
The 2020 Glazing Summit will take place at Edgbaston Stadium and Conference Centre.
