Two hundred and forty tech leaders, investors and entrepreneurs attended the 2019 Go:Tech Awards – cementing the events place as the UK’s leading tech and innovation showcase.
Founded by Ascot Group CEO Andrew Scott just two years ago, the Go:Tech Awards took place at the Bristol Harbour Hotel and attracted visitors from all over the UK as well as abroad, including China.
Organised by Business Leader Magazine, the event was hosted by tech legend and former presenter of The Gadget Show, Jason Bradbury.
Twelve companies walked away as winners on the night, covering categories as diverse as big data and machine learning.
The independent panel of judges included the likes of the Head of Google for Startups UK Marta Krupinska, former exec at Amazon and Google Ann Hiatt, CEO and Founder of Cybsafe Oz Alashe MBE, CEO of UKBAA Jenny Tooth OBE and ‘the man behind the BBC iPlayer’ Anthony Rose.
“Despite being just two years old, the Go:Tech Awards is now firmly established in the tech industry calendar,”
commented Andrew.
“I launched the Go:Tech Awards to provide a platform for small, medium and large technology businesses leading the way across the UK to celebrate their success and pioneering work – after all they are shaping tomorrow’s world today.
“It was great to see some of the country’s most successful, innovative and inspirational companies and entrepreneurs on the night and I’d like to thank all our judges and sponsors.
“We are looking forward to Go:Tech 2020.”
