A summer conference followed by a barbecue for staff and their families was held by the Ascot Group, parent company to fenestration and construction industry marketing specialists Purplex and Insight Data.
Staff gathered at the company’s HQ in Worle, near Weston-super-Mare, to hear Ascot owner and MD Andrew Scott outline plans for future growth. Aspirations include scaling both Purplex and sister company, Insight Data, to ten times the size they are now, embracing the changes brought by the arrival of AI, launching new products and services and creating many more opportunities for local employment.
Following the conference, a party was held for staff and their families. After a damp start, the sun appeared in time for everyone to enjoy a few drinks, great food and some fabulous entertainment.
Andrew Scott said: “We might be 20 years old, but this feels like a start-up with so much innovation, passion, and sense of community. Each of our businesses are going through a rapid growth phase, with existing and new clients over the moon with the work we do.
“I was super excited to announce two new business ventures, adoption of new technology platforms and new markets. I feel like we ‘re only getting started. When you do what you love, it’s not work.”
