Over 100 business leaders and VIPs recently attended the official opening of the new Ascot Group HQ near Bristol. The 3 storey building is part of a £1m investment and gives the marketing and media group 10,000 sq ft of offices across three sites in London and the South West.
Ascot Group MD Andrew Scott commented;
“The new HQ is ideally located at J21 Enterprise Zone between Bristol and Weston-super-Mare and adjacent to Worle train station, giving great transport links for our staff and customers. It will enable us to grow quickly from 58 to 100 people.”
Andrew spoke about the Group’s growth and plans for the future, including potential acquisitions.
The new HQ was then officially opened by high profile MP John Penrose, who was Minister for Heritage and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Culture and Media.
John commented;
“The thing that always impresses me about Andrew since I first met him 10 years ago is the level of energy and ambition. There can’t be many people who are leading an organisation that has grown as fast as the Ascot Group. That gives an indication of the man’s determination and drive, and frankly we need more people like that.”
The event also attracted senior leaders from business, education and government, who enjoyed champagne and canopies, a tour of the new HQ which includes film and video production, a technology hub and conference facilities.
A select number of VIP guests went on to join Andrew and his management team for dinner at a local eatery.
The official opening took place on 9th February 2017 and followed a major recruitment event earlier on the same day, which attracted candidates from all over the South West.
